Feasibility study for Alpaslan II Dam and HPP, located on Murat River - an important branch of Euphrates River - and irrigation of Muş Plain (90,000 ha) by means of water regulated by the dam. Alpaslan II Dam is 130 m high rockfill type. Installed Capacity of HPP is 200 MW.
Feasibility study for Altıparmak Dam and HPP Çoruh River Basin, on Barhal creek. The dam is double-curvature thin arch type and 150 m high from foundation. Installed capacity of power plant is 50 MW.
Master plan study for an important component of Southeastern Anatolian Project (GAP) to use hydropower potential of Kulp, Zori and Sason creeks of Batman River –which is an important branch of Tigris River-, determination of possible dam and HPP sites and irrigation of 257000 ha of land. Silvan, Sason and Kayser Dams (earthfill type) and 7 smaller dams (RCC type) are studied during planning stage.
Feasibility revision, detailed design and construction drawings for Bulut and Yağmur Dams and HPP’s located on Murat branch of Euphrates River in Eastern Anatolia of Turkey. Bulut and Yağmur projects are cascade systems. Bulut Dam is a concrete gravity type dam, 51.5 m high from thalweg. Installed Capacity of the HPP is 75.8 MW and planned annual energy production is 159 GWh. Yağmur Dam is a clay core earthfill type dam, 40 m high from thalweg. Installed Capacity of the HPP is 59.0 MW and planned annual energy production is 128 GWh.
Feasibility study for Düzbağ Dam and related components to supply potable water for Gaziantep city (2.7 million population) Project components are: - Düzbag dam (concrete faced rock-fill dam thalweg elevation of 169 m, total storage capacity 182.52 hm³, dam body volume 21.33 hm³) - Düzbağ Dam – Gaziantep transmission line (capacity: 7.50 m³/s, Diameter: Ø2.60 & Ø1.80 m, Length: 109.76 km, Material: Steel) - Tunnel in transmission line: Length: 3.18 km, Diameter: 3.50 m) - Water Treatment Plant (300 000 m³/day capacity) - Hydroelectrical Power Plant (HEPP): Installed Power: 6 MW, Annual Energy Generation: 34.24 GWh
Consultancy services and construction supervision of Altınkaya Dam, which is located on Kizilirmak River, is 195 m high and rockfill type. Total fill volume of dam body is 15.3 million m³. Installed capacity of the power plant is 700 MW.
The project covers the following studies: Identification and evaluation of surface and ground water potential of Susurluk Basin.
The project’s objective is to assess EE improvement in selected EÜAŞ (Government’s Energy Production Company) Hydro Power Plants (HPP) via measuring and evaluation time-dependent performance deteriorations of turbines and HPP’s primary/auxiliary equipment and to define the scope of necessary rehabilitation works within a feasibility study including cost estimates.
Alara Dam & HPP: Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with concrete lined upstream face. Height of dam from thalweg is 215 m. Length of energy tunnel is 779 m. Installed capacity of the HPP is 154,50 MW and annual estimated production is 454 GWh.
Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with clay core. Height of dam from thalweg is 150 m. Length of energy tunnel is 6000 m with 8 m diameter. Installed capacity of the HPP is 350 MW (3 units) and annual estimated production is 1230 GWh.
Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with clay core. Height of dam from thalweg is 100 m, whereas height from foundation is 130 m. Length of energy tunnel is 500 m.
Kayraktepe Dam & HPP: Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with clay core. Height of dam from thalweg is 99.5 m, whereas height from foundation is 160 m. Length of energy tunnels (2) are 250 m. Installed capacity of the HPP is 290 MW (2 units) and annual estimated production is 644 GWh.
