Feasiblity and final design of İsaköy Dam and Transmission Line, which is planned to supply 198 million m³/year water for Istanbul. Services were performed in association with EPDC, Japan. 79 m high rockfill type dam, water intake, 35000 kW power pump station, 48.5 km long 2200 and 2300 mm diameter prestressed pipelines, two tunnels and two steel-footed aqueducts.
Feasiblity and detailed design of Sazlıdere Dam, which will supply water for Istanbul City. The Dam is located on Sazlıdere River, which is 6 km upstream of Küçükçekmece Lake. Height of the dam is 23.00 m from thalweg and 47.00 m from foundation. Dam body is planned as a zoned rockfill type. The project will supply 49.56 hm³ water to Istanbul. The pumping station at downstream of the dam has an installed capacity of 3400 kW, to pump water to a surge tank which has 103 m maximum water elevation. Force main is 958 m long, 1300 mm inside diameter steel pipe. Water transmission line between surge tank and Water Treatment Plant is 3628 m long, 1600 mm inside diameter prestressed concrete pipe.
Master plan study for an important component of Southeastern Anatolian Project (GAP) to use hydropower potential of Kulp, Zori and Sason creeks of Batman River –which is an important branch of Tigris River-, determination of possible dam and HPP sites and irrigation of 257000 ha of land.
